Mr. Patil is from Bengaluru, India, and is a graduate student majoring in Construction Project management at the School of Sustainable Engineering & the Built Environment.

He obtained bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering from India in 2016 with research on Retrofitting existing structures.

Then, he worked as a Project Engineer in India and in the Kingdom of Bahrain (Middle East) for Grade A Contractor with clients such as Bechtel, Aecom, Mott MacDonald etc.

While the majority of his work has been concentrated on construction projects, he has successfully managed major projects such as Infrastructure, healthcare, residential, commercial, data center, and Industrial from Initial phase – Project Close.

His real passion, however, is finding ways to finish the project under budget and ahead of schedule.

Currently, he is working as a Research Aide to Dr. Stephanie Arcusa at the Center for Negative Carbon Emissions (CNCE).
