The aim of this project is to show an in-depth look at the complexity of creating a small business venture while also doing so in a sustainable manner. My business venture is a brand called Makeshifts where I create garments as well as other products through sustainable methods such as upcycling and zero waste practices. Everything from the material sourcing to the finished product will be done in an effort to leave no waste behind. As for the background portion, it dives into how we got to this point in garment production where the need for sustainable production methods have become increasingly apparent. Lastly, the creative project portion is documented here along with the supplemental attachments with my overall conclusions from this endeavor being summarized to wrap it all up.
