Description
The unreliable narrator has encouraged debates throughout literature studies on our willingness to trust everything the narrator says, bringing into question what is true. I interviewed my Italian relatives to understand my heritage, but more questions arose than answers due to biased opinions. “La Bella Figura” is a limited television series that establishes an unreliable narrator as he attempts to tell the story of his family, all centered around the Italian phrase “the beautiful figure.”
